Everybody knows Google, but not everybody is aware that apart from a great search engine, they also created a fantastic solution for managing and publishing photo galleries on-line -
Google Picasa. The software has all the functions you may ever need when managing your private photos library - it automatically searches your hard drive for pictures anytime you copy something new to your disk. You can easily reprocess all the images with many functions available and with just a few clicks publish your favourite pictures on the Internet in a public or private gallery. Everything in one place, very intuitive (as most of the Google programs) and simple to use.
Did you know that Google also introduced a Docs & Spreadsheet aplication? No? Check this here - http://docs.google.com.

There are two great places just made for sharing images in the Internet.
Stock.xchng - Stock.XCHNG was launched in February 2001, as an alternative for expensive stock photography. The idea was to create a site where creative people could exchange their photos for inspiration or work. In about two years the site evolved into this massive community you see now - there are about 500.000 registered users and more than 180.000 photos online!
I used this website many times when needed photos for my projects. It is very painful, especially for non-profit web creations when you lack for good quality pictures. SXC was always an answer for that and it is the only such good place with free photos on the Net. This is one of the greatest examples how sharing can benefit to all the participants. With my new camera I hope I will upload there some of my pics soon.

Antimoon - How to learn English effectively.
The website is about learning foreign languages based on the example of English. It describes how to find motivation for that, how to learn vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation. The methods presented by authors of the website are sometimes very different from what we learnt at school but the main point is that they are efficient.

A List Apart Magazine (”For People Who Make Websites”) explores the design, development, and meaning of web content, with a special focus on web standards and best practices.
It is one of the most popular places in the Internet for people designing websites. You can find there lots of articles with advices, solutions and ideas written by experienced webmasters, helpful epsecially for those who want to stick to the web standards.

“Despite the UK’s wealth, we are failing to give children the best possible start in life”, UK director of Save the Children.
In the Child well-being table, Scandinavian countries are the leaders. Shocking point is that the UK and the USA, well developed countries, are on the 20th and 21st places. Much lower than Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary were the standard of life is comparably lower.

http://www.changethis.com/ - ChangeThis is creating a new kind of media. A form of media that uses existing tools (like PDFs, blogs and the web) to challenge the way ideas are created and spread. They’re on a mission to spread important ideas and change minds.
I like this place because it allows to go out of the box and start thinking in a different way. It encourages you to improve your life. It is about making right decision in your life and business. It is about being optimistic - “it does not matter where you are today - important thing is where you want to be tomorrow”.
